Terms of Service

01Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of War Beyond, the launcher, the website and all related services (the “Service”), operated by [legal entity name] (the “Operator”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

02Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to play. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.

03Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your username and password secret and for everything done with your account.
• Provide accurate information and keep your e-mail address up to date: password reset codes are sent to it.
• One account signs in to every War Beyond server. Your pilot, items and progress are kept separately on each server.
• “Remember me” keeps you signed in on that device for up to 30 days. Do not use it on shared devices.
• Accounts are personal. You may not share, sell, rent or transfer your account.
• Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

04Fair play and prohibited conduct

The following are not allowed and can lead to a permanent ban without compensation:

• Bots, macros, automation or any third-party software that gives an unfair advantage.
• Modifying, decompiling or reverse-engineering the game client or its network traffic.
• Knowingly using bugs or exploits instead of reporting them.
• Trading in-game items, currency or accounts for real money.
• Harassment, hate speech, threats, impersonating staff or sharing illegal content.

05Virtual items and purchases

Credits, diamonds, ships, equipment and all other in-game items are licensed to you for use in the game only. They have no real-world value, cannot be exchanged for money and are not your property. Purchases are processed by third-party payment providers whose terms also apply.

06Refunds

Digital items are delivered immediately. To the extent permitted by law, purchases are final once the item has been delivered. Nothing in these terms limits the mandatory consumer rights of your country. Chargebacks and payment fraud lead to account suspension.

07User content and moderation

You are responsible for the names, clan names, messages and other content you create. You grant the Operator a licence to use that content to run the Service. We may remove content or rename players and clans that break these terms or the Game & Chat Rules.

08Intellectual property

War Beyond, its logo, art, ships, music, code and all other game content belong to the Operator or its licensors. You may create non-commercial fan content such as screenshots, videos and fan art. Any other use requires written permission.

09Suspension and termination

We may warn, mute, suspend or permanently ban players who break these terms, depending on severity. Sanctions apply on the game server where they are given; each server enforces its own rules. You can delete your account at any time; the deletion is permanent and applies to every server. When an account is closed, its virtual items are lost.

10Changes to the Service

The game is a live service. We may change content, balance, prices and features, and we may end the Service with at least 30 days’ notice in game and on our community channels.

11Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for indirect damages, lost data or lost virtual items, and its total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction]. Disputes are handled by the courts of [venue], without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.

13Changes to these terms

We will announce material changes at least 14 days in advance in game and on our community channels. If you keep playing after the changes take effect, you accept the new terms.
